The HY-ROAD™ is the latest release in the Thunder™ Series of balls. HY-ROAD™ is the perfect complement to the 2007 solid ball of the year; the T-ROAD™ Solid. The combination between core and cover gives pro shop operators the widest range of drilling layouts. The continuous motion of the HY-ROAD™ creates a consistent reaction for many styles of bowlers; a great bench mark ball. The Storm Hy-Road contains a Modified Inverted Fe2 Technology wrapped in a R2S Hybrid Coverstock that is sanded down to 1500 grit and polished. This combination was created to provide drillers with the most drilling options available. This ball is designed to excel on heavy to medium-heavy oil conditions. The highly aggressive R2S™ hybrid coverstock is designed for heavy to medium-heavy oil, hybrid has two different blends of resin, ½ solid, ½ pearl (smoother break point than pearl coverstocks and reacts evenly on fresh and carry-down), easy to adjust by using either Abralon® or Scotch-Brite® pads, holds its shape longer, hybrid cover is easily maintained, enhanced durability, and develops friction by foot print and surface contact. The Modified Inverted Fe2 Technology core helps lower the balls RG, creates a heavy powerful roll, increases ball’s flare potential, bench mark core, fits many styles and releases, proven history of performance
