About the Viking Conquest

The 900 Global Viking Conquest is the solid that takes the Viking into the heaviest oil. It keeps the strong asymmetric Strobe A.I. Core but pairs it with the RB 94 Solid Reactive coverstock at a sanded finish, so it reads earlier and grabs more oil than the polished, hybrid Viking.

Where the Viking clears the fronts and saves its energy for the back, the Viking Conquest attacks the mid-lane sooner with a strong, controlled read, in a sharp Purple, White, and Gray cosmetic. A 900 Series piece built for medium-heavy to heavy volume, it is the early-reading, traction-first complement to the Viking, the ball you start with when the lanes are fresh and oily.

Understanding the 900 Global Strobe A.I. Core and 900 Global RB 94 Solid Reactive

900 Global built the Viking Conquest for traction on the heaviest oil. Specifically, the asymmetric Strobe A.I. Core uses a raised RG and single-density block to read the mid-lane strongly while still providing a powerful backend, while the RB 94 Solid cover at a 2000-grit Abralon finish grabs the front and mid-lane earlier than the polished Viking. As a result, it provides a strong, early read with asymmetric continuation, exactly what heavier, fresher patterns demand. The full per-weight specifications are listed below.

A Raised-RG Asymmetric Core for a Strong Read and Powerful Backend

At the heart of the Viking Conquest is the asymmetric Strobe A.I. Core, the same engine as the Viking. At 15 lb it measures RG 2.51, a strong .052 differential, and a .016 intermediate differential (mass bias), numbers that produce heavy flare and a powerful, defined asymmetric motion. The raised RG and single-density weight block read the mid-lane uniquely while still driving hard through the back.

On the Conquest, that strong core is paired with a sanded solid cover, so the asymmetric power comes with an earlier, stronger read. Because it is asymmetric, layout has a strong influence on the reaction, so your pro shop can position the pin and mass bias to lean the motion earlier or more angular to match your game and the pattern in front of you.

A Sanded Solid for Early Traction on Heavy Oil

The Viking Conquest wraps that core in the RB 94 Solid Reactive coverstock, finished at 2000-grit Abralon. The solid cover at a sanded surface grabs the front and mid-lane earlier and harder than the polished, hybrid Viking, delivering the traction needed to handle medium-heavy to heavy volume, then driving continuously through the pins.

That early, strong read is what makes the Conquest the heavy-oil piece of the Viking pair. The sanded solid digs through oil that would push a cleaner cover down the lane, while the strong Strobe core supplies the flare and the powerful backend. Leave it at the 2000-grit box surface for the strongest read, or polish it up at your pro shop for more length when the volume drops.

Who This Ball Is Right For

✓Tournament Players: A strong, early-reading asymmetric solid for the freshest, heaviest oil, the first ball out of the bag
✓Higher-Rev Bowlers: The strong Strobe core rewards revs with heavy flare and a powerful, driving backend
✓Heavy-Oil Specialists: Built to dig through volume that pushes cleaner covers down the lane, with asymmetric continuation
✓Arsenal Builders: The traction-first complement to the polished Viking, the solid you start with on the fresh

Good to Know Before You Buy

·Strong, aggressive motion: This is a high-flare piece built for traction. If you want a controlled, lower-hook reaction, a lower-differential ball will suit you better.
·Ships sanded for traction: The 2000 Grit Abralon finish is built to grip in oil. Polish it for more length when the volume drops.
·Asymmetric layout sensitivity: Layout choices shift the reaction more than on a symmetric ball. Match the pin and mass bias to your game with your pro shop.
·Colors vary: Actual colors vary somewhat from the photos shown; no two balls come out of the mold exactly alike.
·Tiny pit holes are normal: A few tiny pit holes in the coverstock are a normal part of the manufacturing process.
·Sold undrilled: Ships without finger holes, so it can be fitted to your hand and span.

Where It Fits in Your Arsenal

In the 900 Global lineup, the Viking Conquest is the early-reading, traction-first asymmetric solid. Where the polished, hybrid Viking clears the fronts and finishes clean, the sanded Conquest reads sooner and grabs more oil, so it leads on fresh, heavy patterns. It sits at the strong end of the bag, the ball you start with and step down from to the Viking as the lanes transition.

Surface Adjustments

The 2000-grit Abralon finish gives the Viking Conquest its strongest, earliest read. Take it even lower for more bite on heavy oil, or polish it up for more length as the volume drops. Have surface changes done at your pro shop for an even, consistent finish.

Coverstock Care

Wipe the RB 94 Solid cover with an approved reactive ball cleaner after every session, and deep clean it periodically. A sanded solid absorbs oil quickly, so keeping it clean preserves the early traction that defines the Viking Conquest.
